A True passion for his work and a love of colour are the inspiration behind the man responsible for driving the incredibly successful Christopher Vine Design.
A love of craft and art and everything that goes with it were amongst the many hobbies he enjoyed whilst growing up. A self taught artist, Christopher painted and exhibited frequently in Australia before leaving for Europe and the USA. Christopher returned to Australia to launch his first range under the Christopher Vine Design label. This was a range of Greeting Cards that soon grew into various stationery items that before long were licensed on a world wide basis.
Recognising a need for change in the home ware market, Christopher took on the challenge to re-invent it by introducing the use of colour. Traditional tabletop items such as glasses, placemats and dinnerware moved from being mere support pieces to co-ordinated, integral elements in overall design and colour scheme of the home.
Since then, Christopher Vine, also a writer, has dominated the pages of most Australian home-style magazine and newspapers with articles on topics ranging from travel destinations and the ultimate wedding celebration to interior make-over's and style tips. His award winning artwork graced the covers of Qantas and Australian Airlines Travel Brochures for several years and many of his designs are currently used under licence on a variety of products both in Australia and overseas.
Christopher continues to expand his vision and in turn his business, concentrating on research and development, refining new techniques and introducing new shapes and designs into the Christopher Vine Design ranges.
